Home Treatment

Our Home Treatment team offers personalised at-home appointments for under 25s who need a high level of mental health support. This may be following a mental health crisis, after an inpatient stay or simply to assist with managing day-to-day mental health in the community.

If you need this high level of support, we can visit you at home or in another convenient and safe location. Each time we visit, we'll check how you're doing and discuss whether home treatment is still the best option for you. We can offer psychological and self-help support too, help to manage any risks at home and administer medication if required.

Home treatment is a short-term approach designed to help you move into (or back into) the care of our community hub teams. Sometimes a young person may need to go from home treatment into inpatient care. If this is the case, we'll work with you to ensure you're safe and fully supported throughout your stay.
