Carenotes disruption

Our FTB services are currently experiencing disruption caused by a cyber attack on the company that provides a number of NHS information systems.

There is no evidence that any patient information has been leaked or that any patient confidentiality has been breached, but as a precaution Carenotes, the system used by our mental health teams, was shut down in order to limit the attack.
This means at this point in time, we cannot access patient records to enter new information and have only limited access and ability to view existing information.

Our Mental Health Services across FTB have back-up plans in place so they can continue to run the service and see patients, however it does make it more difficult for the teams to answer specific patient and relative queries.

We have been advised by the national NHS England team that restoring the service may take several weeks. Everyone is working incredibly hard to minimise the impact so please bear this in mind during this period however, until the system is fully restored and information uploaded back onto Carenotes we will be temporarily pausing our online self referal tool.

If you have a specific query please use the form below or contact our Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS) via their online form.

Carenotes Query Form

***Please note that this form is for queries relating to Carenotes only and is not a referral form. For information about our referrals, and what support is currently available, please visit the Make a Referral page. If you are a patient and concerned about your wellbeing, please contact your clinical team.***
