Our FTB services are currently managing disruption caused by a cyber-attack on a national provider of NHS information systems.
There is no evidence that any patient information has been compromised, but as a precaution the provider has instigated emergency measures.
This means that our mental health teams are unable to access Carenotes, our patient information system, and live patient data, appointments times etc.
However, we have activated our contingency plans and using back-up data where available and manually recording information until the issue is resolved.
The delivery of clinical services will continue as close to normal as possible.
This will affect our ability to efficiently respond to patient and relative queries, but everyone is working incredibly hard to minimise the impact so please bear this in mind during this period.
Patients and families with any specific concerns should contact their named clinician in the first instance or our Patient and Liaison Service (PALS).
